Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website and services of KAAALM Wellness ("KAAALM," "we," "us," or "our"), a division of ALW Living Solutions, located in North Carolina. By using our website, booking a consultation, or otherwise engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Our Services

KAAALM provides Ayurvedic lifestyle consultations and related wellness guidance, including initial consultations, follow-up sessions, and written lifestyle plans. Our guidance is educational and oriented toward general wellbeing.

Not Medical Advice

KAAALM's services are for general wellness and educational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Our practitioners are not acting as your physician, and using our services does not create a doctor–patient relationship. Ayurvedic guidance, including any dietary, herbal, yoga, or lifestyle suggestions, has not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Always seek the advice of a licensed physician or qualified health provider with any questions about a medical condition, before starting any new diet, supplement, or exercise program, and before making changes to prescribed treatment. Never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something provided by KAAALM. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to book a consultation or otherwise use our services. By using our services you represent that you meet this requirement.

Appointments, Fees, and Payment

Consultation fees are presented at the time of booking and are subject to change. To confirm a booking, you provide a payment method that is securely saved by our payment processor, Stripe. Your card is not charged at the time of booking — the consultation fee is charged after your session takes place. By booking, you authorize us to charge your saved payment method for the applicable fee following your session.

Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds

You may cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before its start time at no charge; because we charge only after a session, a timely cancellation results in no fee. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment, or failure to attend ("no-show"), may be charged the full consultation fee. Refunds, where applicable, are handled on a case-by-case basis. (These terms may be tailored to KAAALM's final policy.)

Information You Provide at Booking

When booking, you are asked a few short multiple-choice questions about your wellness goals and your familiarity with Ayurveda. These help your practitioner prepare for your session and are not a place to submit medical records or clinical health information. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse our website or services, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with the site's operation, submitting false information, or using the services for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and the KAAALM name and branding — is owned by KAAALM Wellness or ALW Living Solutions and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute it without our written permission.

Third-Party Services

We use third-party services, including Calendly for scheduling and Stripe for payments. Your use of those services through our site is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third parties.

Disclaimers

Our website and services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any particular result will be achieved from our wellness guidance.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KAAALM Wellness and ALW Living Solutions will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, our website or services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the services giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KAAALM Wellness, ALW Living Solutions, and their personnel from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the services or your violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in North Carolina.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above, and your continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
